New Tag Suggestions/Corrections
Sorry for being late, but all tag requests have been added to the database as of January 8th.
Next update will be January 31st.

We are now open for new tag requests. Only requests posted here will be considered as its the best place for us to keep track of them.

If you want to request some tags, state the name of the series, and list more than one character.

Please do it in this format or it will NOT be accepted:

:star4:Series name -> character 1;character 2;character 3;etc:star4:

Also please, please check a tag or series and make sure that tag/characters aren't already listed before making a request!

Thanks!

Using a copyright Logo as an ID makes it seem as if that Logo owner endorses this art site or a personal gallery which can cause legal issues.

Hi, can you delete my account for me? I wasn't able to find any way to do this myself.
I'm not comfortable using the site with the current rules around allowing underage porn on here, and don't really want my username present on here with that stuff.

I'm very sorry. There is no way for us to delete your account. That feature was never coded into the site. The only thing you can do is remove everything from it and leave a blank account. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful and I'm very sorry to have you leave. If it helps any, the shota filter is on by default for everyone. You actually have to go into your settings to turn it off in order to see it. Again, my apologies.

I'll send bro a message about it. Might be a glitch somewhere.

I'm confused by the wording on TOS 9a when it comes to using "Censor bars used jarringly or to hide Terms of Service violations' Does that mean images that use censor bars to force users to go to a pay site like Patreon to see the uncensored version. or is that like don't post a POV where half of it is censored bar and you barely see the face behind it?

hi! i’m having some trouble categorizing my art with the tagging system. last night i was able to post some clothed, SFW art of two boys on the “young” category and choose the N/A filter because there was nothing to warn for, and the picture was posted without a mature content filter so guests could see it. but today when i chose the N/A filter, it forced my art to be hidden and also automatically added the shota filter tag to it. is there still a way to post SFW unfiltered art?

What was the image that had the tag put on it? Can you link me to it?

will the new y!gal page be more generally lgbtqa+ oriented when it goes up? as much as I love y!gal, fandom has changed a lot since it was last active, and lgbtqa of all kinds is in need of a home like this gallery, not just yaoi/mlm art. with your tagging system it should absolutely be possible to block certain content if you don't want to see it. I would also love to see a wider block system, so that you can block certain pairings or something of the sorts.

We are in the process now of changing some rules to be more inclusive. The changes should be showing soon.

Unfortunately, blocking is not something we can do for everything here although we do have a filter system that should definitely help if there's things you don't want to see. On the new Y!gallery we will have a more robust blocking system which should do exactly what you're asking for

(copied to where it should properly go) Hey, so I just glanced at your ToS and saw it's against the rules to post commissions or gift art to a user gallery (6a).

IMO this is not the best rule to have, as it limits a good chunk of your members from being able to post anything. I, myself, as an example, have several OCs who I purchase commissions of to form an ongoing narrative about them. Under this rule it sounds like I can't post them here? If so, no other gallery site I've been on has worked like that. So long as proper credit is given, commissions have always been allowed (even encouraged, to help spread an artist's work)

Really hoping this rule might be reversed if I'm reading it correctly!

I'm going to second this, because I know that if the site is going to grow again it'll have to be able to compete is some basic ways. I fully understand wanting to avoid parasite accounts where someone is willy nilly posting art that isn't theirs but I know there's some art I've done (as a collaboration) and that person is no longer on Y!gallery and some of those people are no longer doing art.

As a solution, you may just need to have people attribute everything if it was done by someone else (as they should be doing) and stating where it was commissioned. A person that's just posting other people's work isn't going to bother trying to make up a lie every single time. They generally don't care where they found a piece or who did it. If I recall, too, those people also rarely took the time to tag anything either.

Hi Manicorn. We actually had a lot of artists complain about others posting their works, even if it was bought as a commission since lot of people would not state it was a commission or credit the artist. That's why we don't allow it. I'm truly sorry, but only the original artist can upload their artwork.

Helloo I can't seem to figure out how to set a 'featured' submission in the club I founded. It says I need the submission number but then it gives me an error?
Do I have to write it in a special way for it to work?

I think what it means by "submission number" is the number the site assigned to your upload. For instance, the number for your submission Rufus x Cloud v.2 would be 278. I found this by bringing up that submission and looking up at the address bar which says "h t t p s://o l d.y-g a l l e r y.n e t/v i e w/278/" (I put spaces between the letters so the address wouldn't turn into a link, and bolded the number so it would stand out.)

278 would be the submission number for that particular piece of art. Each submission will have its own unique number, found in the address bar. Try entering that number when prompted for it.

See if that works. If it doesn't, come back, let us know and we'll try something else.

Cheers, Spiral
(Smod on the old site)

I have a question regarding the ToS for clarification. It states that transgender males are acceptable for content submitted to Y!Gallery, however the next line states that unclothed vaginas are not permitted. Are you stating that trans men are only permitted if they are clothed? Or that only vaginas on feminine or explicitly female bodies are not allowed?

Edit: Sorry, saw this question answered lower in the comments.

Hi Right now we're dealing with the old site so the way it's set up is more separate with the main gallery and extras. For Trans characters: They are allowed to show binded breasts or top surgery scars on the main gallery. They are also fine to be shown with strap-ons and having sex with them. If you want to show full breasts or vagina, that will need to be shared though the extras gallery.

On the new version of the site, everything will be hosted on the main site, but we'll have a similar set up to discord with "channels". this will make things much better organized and easier to find specific works or artists you may be interested in. When we first open the new site, we'll start with the one channel marked Y!aux, but we'll be adding more channels as we go. I hope that made sense and I hope you'll be patient with us as we work to get the newer version of Y!gallery up and running.
