Somehow I suddenly associated it with Otto (Otho in some versions) from Captain Future...and it's almost scary how well the role as a male stripper works for him. Really: the bulky physique, the boisterous, overly cocky persona, the preternatural flexibility (Otto, being an android, has no bones)...even the undersized peaked cap, always worn sideways, is something that makes a lot more sense on a male stripper than on a spacefaring adventurer. I'm still giggling...
