Astaroth has been living on my head since 2006 (bastard used to pay rent, but in time I suppose I went soft on him) and what you're seeing there is the very first time I put the pesky bloodsucker on paper. I think his hair used to be black during the first couple of years, but when I got ideas for designing his father I decided to change the color to match his mother's instead (it's bad enough he got his dad's eye color, he thinks). I also have no idea where the original went, so I'm glad I scanned it and somehow kept it in my scrap folder.

The 2007 one is a detail from a WIP of his first character sheet (I was still digesting some further info on vampires for character and world building and didn't get to draw him much, so the design wasn't that consistent back then). Sadly, as far as I know, I lost the original file and that WIP screenshot is all that I have left of that character sheet.
Most of the remaining work on him since then is on this gallery so there isn't much to talk about, but I do remember really liking the 2016 picture a lot and it has been my definitive picture of him ever since.

The 2021 is just a sneak peek with his new hairstyle, still a WIP for a possible character sheet (shameful how he hasn't one yet, I know).
