Artist's comment:

Here they dwelled. In these sacred Halls. Light, soft bare feet tread the marble floors. And where HIS tender feet walk, like a halo light emits and brings back life, little by little to the forlorn hall. First what I see is all that. HIS tender bare feet, a flowing light blue robe, wide, flowing, ornamental. The beautiful feet of a child or a youth. There is complete silence in these wonderful halls, even though I just see them from this low perspective, I see the Gold and the Silver, the Ivory and the Marble and all is light beauty, and where the Child walks, the dead cold marble stone and the dull metal comes back to light, like a light shining from within.
Then my gaze which is like a tunnel view, I pass the robe, blue and turquoise like the starry night and radiant stars glimmering and moving on it, a tender white arm touches a marble wall, and the dead stone comes back to life. He halts. His slender fingers resting on the wall. My gaze goes up, I see the faint, gentle smile of the Youth, and up I see his eyes closed, his face like in a happy memory. Golden hair falls in thick locks upon this radiant face, his slender fingers still touching the wall, as if he communes with the walls, yeah with the whole structure of whatever vast, deserted castle he had walked just to stand here, touch the wall with his slender white fingers, pondering, remembering.

Then a sound builds up, so faint and bright, I barely can hear it at first. His mouth is just so a bit opened, unmoving, and yet a chant like many voices and yet one voice emerges and the beauty, softness and sacredness of it is beyond anything I have heard or have words for. And so it goes on, and while his choir or chant raises echoing to the empty halls, it is like this entire grand castle or structure is becoming alive. The dull gold shines, the dump marble glows white light from within.
Then he halts, and there is a silence and that silence is even more sacred than his singing before, though it is beyond words. Ever so softly his hand glides back, his eyes open, and they are blue and turquoise like his robe, just much brighter as if the One Light itself shining from within, and there is an unending benevolence and childlike bliss in his expression. His face just half turned to me, who like a ghost is not there but seeing, after a long pause, he whispers to me just these words, word by word, very slowly.

"It is time, now, finally."
I see him now fully. He walks, very tardily, like each step is a conscious action, there is no hurry, no necessity, and his light robes flow in a gentle breeze that suddenly streams through the hallways and alleys. At some point the ways open to the side, and the path is guarded by a knee-high ornamental wall, white columns to the left and right, and beautiful, unearthly trees, tender with white and silver and blue and golden leafs flank the pathway now, and beyond it lies a large garden to the left and right. And now and then there is a gap where one could leave the fenced pathway and enter the garden to the left or to the right.

He pauses, his head sinks, eyes closed as if summoning a memory. Then ever so slow he turns left and enters the garden, and it is beautiful beyond words. Where he passes the dead fountains begin to awaken to once more emit murmuring water, and flowers open up in colors beyond words, and everything seems sacred, and serene and perfect. He walks the now sandy roads and halts before a crossroad in whose middle is a fountain, showing dolphins and figures of beauty, and just with two of his gentle fingers he touches it and it comes alive, not suddenly, but first here and there water rises from marble mouths and it takes many minutes until the fountain is fully alive. There is warmth, it touches my skin even I am just ghostly there with him, and an unending peace and happiness overcometh me.

This is the first opportunity for me to look around as HE sits at the rim of the f
